Cookie Policy

Effective July 19, 2026 · Orstrum, Inc.

This Cookie Policy explains how Orstrum, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit orstrum.com or use the Orstrum cloud service.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your login session or preferences.

Cookies We Use

Cookie Type Purpose
sb-<project-ref>-auth-token Strictly Necessary Manages your authenticated session with Supabase and carries the refresh token that silently renews it. Without this cookie you cannot stay signed in. It is HTTP-only, Secure, and SameSite=Lax, and may be split across numbered chunks (…-token.0, …-token.1) when it exceeds the browser's size limit.
sb-<project-ref>-auth-token-code-verifier Strictly Necessary Short-lived PKCE verifier written during OAuth sign-in and cleared as soon as the exchange completes.
__vercel_live_token Functional Set by Vercel for preview deployments only. Not present in production.

What We Don't Use

We do not use:

  • Advertising or targeting cookies.
  • Cross-site tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies.
  • Social media cookies (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Twitter/X conversion tags).
  • Fingerprinting technologies to identify you across sites.

Duration

The session cookie's lifetime is governed by the Supabase Auth session settings, not by a fixed cookie expiry: a session ends after 7 days of inactivity, and in all cases after 30 days from sign-in, whichever comes first. Staying active refreshes the 7-day idle window but not the 30-day limit. The PKCE verifier cookie lives only for the few seconds of an OAuth sign-in. Signing out clears these cookies immediately.

Managing Cookies

Because the authentication cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function, there is no opt-out for them while you are signed in. You can clear all cookies at any time through your browser settings — this will sign you out.

Browser instructions for clearing cookies:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data.
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data.
  • Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge — Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as we add new features or processors. Any material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
